Step into the realm of sacred transformation as we embark on a Kundalini yoga class designed to illuminate the path of self-discovery and energetic liberation.  In this journey, we will harness the power of movement, breath, and the resonant vibrations of the drums performed by Druminyasa to confront and dissolve blockages that reside within our bodies and minds.

Prepare to immerse yourself in the pulsating rhythms of the drum, which will guide our practice and serve as the heartbeat for our collective energy. Each beat will resonate deeply, echoing the call to awaken your inner warrior, urging you to confront the shadows that have held you back. Together, we will engage in a series of dynamic Kundalini postures, infusing our movements with intention and the fierce commitment to overcome the limitations we encounter.

Mudras in Motion: healing the chakras through mudras and yogic movement
Saturday September 13, 2025 11:30am - 12:30pm EDT
mudra:
[muh-dra] noun.
a Sanskrit word meaning 'closure' or 'seal'; hand gestures that effect the flow of energy in the body.

Come together in a sacred healing container to learn about mudras and the ways in which they could enhance your yoga practice and heal the chakras. This class will start off with stillness and breath to bring us back into our bodies. We will then transition into gentle poses to awaken stagnant energy, followed by a flow that will create some heat, and ending with restorative poses to calm the body to prepare for savasana.

As Deonna guides you through this all-levels class she will provide you with modifications to suit your needs along with gentle, encouraging words as we move and heal our physical and energetic bodies through the power of mudras and movement medicine.

Energy Medicine Yoga - The 5 Elements
Saturday September 13, 2025 1:30pm - 2:30pm EDT
Energy Medicine Yoga® is an integrative practice, uniting the ancient healing methods of energy medicine and the time-honored tradition of yoga. This magical union works to align and balance the body’s nine energy systems that form the foundation of our health. Classic yoga postures are interwoven with ancient traditional healing modalities including working with the meridian system, tapping, self-massage, holds to calm and regulate the body’s stress responses, and much more. These techniques are your gateway to communicating with the body in its own language, activating its natural healing intelligence. By focusing on your body as pure energy, you are empowered to transform and flow through life radiant and vibrant.

In this workshop, we will dive into 5 Element Theory. We will talk about the traits of each of the 5 elements, learn about how the elements affect your everyday life, and find out how to determine your personal elemental make-up. The workshop will conclude with a flow designed to balance the elements.
Come discover your elements!

Joy in Motion : Yoga Nia (neuromuscular intermittent action)
Saturday September 13, 2025 1:30pm - 2:30pm EDT
Nia (Neuro-muscular Integrative Action) is a holistic movement practice that works with elements from martial arts, dance, and relaxation techniques and brings together body, mind, and soul. In class, you are encouraged to listen to your inner voice, to be guided by the ‘pleasure principle’, and so to perform the moves in such a way that they are healing and do your body good

Nia is fun and at the same time, develops physical fitness: strength, stamina, and a feeling of lightness. The switching between fixed choreography and free dance will stimulate your creativity and potential vitality, health, and zest for life are long-lasting side effects. The dance steps will increase your coordination, natural intelligence, and mental fitness.

Nia strengthens your connection to your own body; you will become aware of your own beauty and strength. Nia is a dance of body, mind and soul – a dance experience that transforms your life. An hour of Nia will burn calories without you even realizing that you’re in the middle of a demanding workout Nia is suitable for everyone: whether you’re fit or unfit, old or young – everyone is welcome.

Nia will give you energy but also increase your capacity to stay calm and relaxed when facing the stresses of everyday life
To make this opportunity even more unique, we utilize silent, disco headphones, which allow you to have a really personal in-body experience. We will all follow the same guided playlist that has been curated to inspire play movement and deep somatic healing.

Twirling Threads X Ghost Pipe: Ecstatic dance
Saturday September 13, 2025 6:00pm - 7:00pm EDT
At the heart of freeform movement lies the power to release inhibitions, let go of stress, and connect deeply with yourself and others. Join the festival community for a cathartic experience that embraces all emotions – from pure joy to quiet contemplation. It is in this space that we tap into our inner strength, resilience, and creativity, fostering a sense of belonging and unity within ourselves and community. Your facilitator, Lauren, will lead you through an opening meditation to center and connect to the breath, body, and spirit. This practice morphs into the beginning of movement and stretching and eventually releases into freedom to move as you do and experience yourself.

Ghost Pipe is the spirit-channeled experience of holistic psychotherapist and graduate professor of psychology and counseling ConnorWills. Ghost Pipe is meant to be more of a sound healing than a DJ set. Folks in attendance can expect to hear sampled vocal wisdom from Indigenous leaders around the world, experts in trauma healing, and other reminders about self-love woven in over each track. Ghost Pipe sets tend to lean toward organic tribal beats from West Africa and South America with dubby drops peppered in, but are always 100% unplanned and improvised moment by moment based on the energy of those in attendance. Come experience music as a modality for healing!

Ecstatic Dance is an inclusive, drug and alcohol-free space where authenticity is cherished. Within this realm, we allow for the music to be the gateway to authentic expression and as an invitation to explore your body’s innate wisdom.
