The Yamas & Niyamas are 10 ethical guidelines for living skillfully, and their wisdom reaches far beyond the practice of Yoga. Not only does each principle give us guidance on how to interact with others, but they also show us how to "keep our side of the street clean", as the rooms of 12-step recovery programs say.

Many of us, whether we are years into sobriety or are just becoming "sober-curious", have been looking for new precepts to lead our recovery; a system that resonates with us on a deeper level than traditional programs can. No matter where you are on your journey, the Yamas and Niyamas can provide direction and inspiration for sobriety that will lead to inevitable self-discovery, growth, and liberation.

Join us for a supportive, expansive, and informative group discussion with Anne St. Hilaire - counselor, yoga teacher, recovery enthusiast, and founder of Awakened Connection, LLC - as we dive into Yoga's ethical principles and explore their application to the path of individualized sobriety. We'll laugh, learn, and connect with each other in integrity and reflection. Namaste!
