About me
Hi there, Stardust! My name is Lauren. Yoga and movement began influencing my life in 2018 after a series of events that led me to my first asana class. Since developing a practice, diving into community, and leaving the state I grew up in; movement in many forms has been a bridge for connections, internally and externally. Upon completing my 200hr Hatha focused YTT in January, 2021 from my "h OM e studio," Rising Lotus Healing Center in Homer Glen, IL, I began to gracefully make major shifts in my life, including moving to another state! Over the years, through the modalities of music, concerts, festivals, and connecting with the land around me, I recognized and became familiar with the freedom that comes with movement. Discovering Ecstatic Dance communities in Colorado inspired me to organize gatherings in the town I live in, Grand Junction, and for the past year, Twirling Threads Ecstatic Dance has sprouted roots that are nurtured by our community. It is this sense of freedom and safety within our community that we hope to bring to you, wherever you may be.
